About MunaRain
Muna combines her love of music, art, alternative fashion & costuming, Anime, fantasy and Sci-Fi to create a dance that expresses her own personality and unique view of the world.
Since the winter of 2002, Muna has continually studied, refined, and experimented with the foundation movements and technique of Bellydance. Her fusion and solo improvisation skills have been mostly self-taught through watching other performers, videos, and experimentation. She attended Tribal Fusion Group Improv classes with Seattle teacher Sharon Moore for 2 1/2 years, where she gained invaluable skills and exposure to the endlessly inspiring world of Tribal Bellydance. Since then, she has taken many workshops and performed at public events and festivals, such as the Mediterranean Fantasy Festival and Tribal Fest 7.
